Besonders erfolgreich war ein Team des Gymnasiums, das in der Gesamtwertung im Raum Zwickau den zweiten Platz erreichte. Den Schülern gelang es, ihren Depotwert im Zeitraum von Anfang Oktober bis Ende Januar um beeindruckende 22 Prozent zu steigern.
Innerhalb der Oberschule setzte sich zudem ein Mädchenteam als Schulsieger durch. Die erfolgreichen Teams wurden am 4. März zu einer feierlichen Auszeichnung in die Zentralsparkasse Zwickau eingeladen. Dort wurden die besten Teams der teilnehmenden Schulen sowie die Sieger des gesamten Wettbewerbs im Raum Zwickau geehrt. Außerdem erhielten die Teilnehmer Einblicke in die verschiedenen Anlagestrategien, mit denen die erfolgreichen Platzierungen erreicht wurden.
Auch im kommenden Jahr möchten die Internationalen Schulen Reinsdorf wieder mit zahlreichen Schülerinnen und Schülern am Planspiel Börse teilnehmen. Die Hoffnung ist groß, erneut an die starken Ergebnisse dieses Jahres anknüpfen zu können.
Successful Participation in the Stock Market Simulation Game
Another successful year has come to an end for the International Schools in Reinsdorf with their participation in the Planspiel Börse, a stock market simulation competition organized by the Sparkasse. In total, 50 students took part in the contest, forming 18 teams.
One of the school’s teams achieved a particularly notable result, securing second place in the overall ranking for the region of Zwickau. Within the competition period—from early October to the end of January—the team managed to increase the value of its virtual portfolio by an impressive 22 percent.
Within the school, the top-performing team was an all-female group, which emerged as the school’s winner. On March 4, the successful participants were invited to an award ceremony at the Zentralsparkasse Zwickau. During the event, the most successful teams from the participating schools as well as the overall winners from the Zwickau region were honored. The ceremony also provided insights into the different investment strategies that contributed to the winning results.
The International Schools Reinsdorf are already looking forward to taking part in the competition again next year. With many students eager to participate in new teams, the school hopes to achieve similarly strong results in the next round of the contest.
