Our trip to Turkey

We were welcomed with open arms and delicious food by the Turkish teachers and students.

At school we printed fabrics and later sewed bags from them together, which are also a unique souvenir.

During the visit to Kammgarn Zwickau, which took place beforehand, the students saw how yarns are produced. And it is precisely these yarns from Zwickau that are woven into fabrics in Bursa, as we learned during a tour of the factory.

In addition to a city tour, a visit to the Great Mosque and a lunch with traditional kebab, the program also included a Turkish-German course, which caused great hilarity on both sides.

The flight, the ferry ride across the Sea of Marmara, the call of the muezzin, the crossing of the Bosporus - 5 days and 1000 impressions later we reached home exhausted.
