Professions that they are unlikely to encounter at a career fair and that they may never have heard of. This should broaden their perspective on the possibilities of their career choice and give them insights into occupational fields that are unknown to them. At the same time, of course, it also gives companies the opportunity to arouse the students' interest in their line of work. Perhaps they will see each other again in an internship or even in an apprenticeship. The offer at the school was for grades 7 to 9 of the International High School and grade 9 of the International Gymnasium. The professions of hydraulic engineer, mortician and brass and woodwind instrument maker took part in the "Meeting of unusual professions". At this point we would like to thank the State Reservoir Administration of the Free State of Saxony, the funeral home Hölig and the company Buffet Crampon Deutschland GmbH very much, because without them the event would not have been possible.

The presentations were very interesting and vivid, and the children listened intently to the explanations of each profession.

There was consistently positive feedback from the students as well as from the companies. This shows us that the event was a success for both sides and the one or other cooperation between the school and the companies will certainly continue.
