The aim of this competition is to make the smartest and most sensible investments possible. At the beginning of the competition, the class was divided into different groups and the individual groups were allowed to choose a team name.
The team with the name "Team FC Döner" consisted of: Paul Wagner, Lennart Mahn, Roy Windisch and Richard Urlaß.
After the group got together, the first investments began. In the first few weeks of the competition, the team did not have much success because they made the wrong investments.
After the team had sold some shares that were not making a profit and bought new ones, the team account slowly rose again.
The team watched as the money came back into the team account and after some time they decided to hold on to the shares and wait. After that, the team let the investments run free. It was decided to keep the investments as most of the profit had been committed up to that point.
After the 11 weeks were over, it took a while for the evaluations to be published. On February 8, 2024, the team received the news that they had taken 3rd place in the sustainability category.
They received their prize money on Thursday 07.03.2024.
