Second week of the 8IOR workshop days

From March 21 to 25, they went to the BSW in Werdau for a week for the second time. Back in January, the students were able to spend a week here getting to know various occupational fields and trying them out in practice.

They then decided on the four occupational fields that they found most interesting. In the second week, they were able to take a closer look at these, learn more about their contents and requirements, and of course do a lot of practical work.

In the wood career field, students built a cell phone holder that improves the sound of the cell phone when playing music, and in the metal field, they were able to make a paperweight.

Those who would like to go in the direction of education later on could try out role-playing and slip into the role of an educator who is simultaneously pestered by several "children" with many questions. They continued to think about how to support children and created their own creative and educational offers on the subject. Of course, the training, the teaching content and the required skills in the field of social assistant and educator were also discussed in more detail.

The students learned how to disassemble and reassemble a computer in IT. In this way, they can lay the foundation for later becoming an expert in this professional field and see whether they really like and enjoy working with PCs.

We would like to thank BSW Werdau again for the interesting impressions that the students were able to gain in their four desired occupational fields.
