potential analysis 7IOR

On Wednesday and Thursday after the autumn break, our 7 IOR classes had to bend wire, find out what David does, build a tower out of matches or make a picture frame out of paper.

These and other tasks were completed by the students in individual or group work as part of the potential analysis (PA). The young people were observed by practical advisors. During the tasks, they took a closer look at the development of various skills such as the ability to concentrate, the ability to work in a team or the ability to plan. The results are evaluated with the help of the Profil AC Sachsen. The pupils thus receive feedback on their strengths and in which professional fields they could best apply these strengths. In Year 7, the PA is the first step in the vocational orientation of our young people.

The results are then evaluated and discussed in a subsequent development plan meeting with the practical advisor, the student and their parents, and it is jointly determined whether the proposed career directions match those of the students.
