Because together is simply better

As part of their class project "Together is better", the class 6 of the International Secondary School Reinsdorf, together with their class teacher Mrs. Becher, designed the trip week a little differently.

In order to both strengthen the sense of togetherness and do something for the common good, three unforgettable project days were held.

The first day was all about culinary delights, because, together with the boss of the restaurant "Adam" in Zwickau-Oberplanitz, Mr. Karsten Bonitz, the kids, their class teacher and the father of one of the students were allowed to demonstrate their skills in the fresh pasta dough production. However, one or the other piece of dough disappeared uncooked into the hungry mouths. Some also surpassed themselves in the preparation of the appetizer and pasta sauce. Especially for the boys, who needed a "cooking break" in between, the adjacent soccer field offered a great compensation.

The following day was no less exciting and informative. After a hike to the "House of Discoverers" in Reinsdorf-Friedrichsgrün, the class was divided. One group was allowed to look around the house and try things out on their own, while the other group took part in the "Drums'n'moves" workshop. After that the change took place. Together they drummed, danced or just laughed heartily. Here, too, one or two hidden talents were revealed.

On the last day, the class stayed at school to help, again in groups, either the janitor with the beautification of the schoolyard or Mrs. Becher in the student kitchen. As a reward, fresh roast and rolls with minced meat from the grill were served. Everyone had a lot of fun and showed so much commitment, which strengthened the sense of community and will hopefully encourage more great class experiences in the future.
