A day full of exercise and new experiences in and around Reinsdorf
What actually happens when an entire school dedicates at least one day to sport? During the last week of the 2024/2025 school year, we at Reinsdorf International School left our school buildings and got active in sports to escape the daily routine of learning and perhaps even get a taste for more in our free time.
Intercultural Bridges – Student Exchange with Spain
Our exciting student exchange between Germany and our partner school in L'Olleria, Spain, took place during the week of May 5th to 11th. Over several days, we and our teachers were able to experience a fascinating journey through culture, history, and community.
Adventure in Højer: Our student exchange at the Danish Efterskole
A student exchange is more than just a trip—it's a bridge that connects cultures and fosters friendships. We, a group of students from SIS-Reinsdorf, were fortunate enough to experience this during an exchange with a Danish "Efterskole" (secondary school) in Højer from April 7 to April 12, 2025.

Parents' Day
In the last week of school before the winter vacations, it was once again time for a special career orientation event at our International Secondary School in Reinsdorf.

The 2025 open day
On Friday, January 24, 2025, the International Schools Reinsdorf opened their doors to interested visitors for the first time on a Friday. Despite the new date, the open day was a great success and once again attracted numerous parents, pupils and interested parties.
SIS students among the top ten geographers in Saxony
On Monday, January 9, 2025, a total of 30 students from all schools in Saxony came together at the IHK location in Dresden to compete against each other in the final of the 19th Saxon Geo-Olympiad.
Looking back on Remembrance Day: Pupils set an example of remembrance and international understanding
On November 17, 2024, our community celebrated Volkstrauertag, a day of remembrance and reminder. Under the theme "Passing on remembrance to the next generation", SIS Reinsdorf was once again an active part of this special event this year.
School's own active careers fair at the International Schools Reinsdorf
After a year's break, this year's event was once again "The big world of professions under a small roof" at the International Schools Reinsdorf.
Excursion to Wartburg Castle
On 23.10.2024, a group of pupils from the International Schools Reinsdorf went on an excursion to Wartburg Castle in Eisenach. Wartburg Castle, founded in 1067, is one of the most important castles in Germany and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
