Our trip to Turkey
1700 km separate Zwickau and the megacity of Bursa in Turkey. But one aspect connects the two cities: the textile industry.
Under the title "From fiber to fashion" as part of the EU project ERASMUS+School, Class 7 of the International Secondary School Reinsdorf set off on a trip to the Turkish city of Bursa on June 4, 2023.
The big world of professions under a small roof - school's own BO fair
On Friday, 21.04.2023, the time had come. The International Schools Reinsdorf organized their first own fair for career orientation in the sports hall Reinsdorf. A total of 30 companies from Reinsdorf and the surrounding area presented themselves and informed the students about their activities and available training or internship positions.
Because together is simply better
As part of their class project "Together is better", the class 6 of the International Secondary School Reinsdorf, together with their class teacher Mrs. Becher, designed the trip week a little differently.
Our open day on 28.01.2023
After two years of eagerly waiting for an open day - in the truest sense of the word - we were finally able to make it happen again. It felt like at least as many parents were waiting for it, because the turnout was overwhelming. When we opened our doors at 9:30 a.m., the parking lot was already well filled and many parents curiously stormed our house.
Mourning for Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn
We were saddened to hear of the death of Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn. With Carl Hahn, Saxony International School - Carl Hahn gGmbH not only loses a close friend and companion, but also its dedicated namesake and brilliant educational visionary.
Award ceremony for excellent vocational orientation
For the many years of excellent vocational orientation at our International Secondary School Reinsdorf, we were awarded the "Saxon Seal of Quality for Vocational Orientation".
Merry Christmas everywhere
After two years of forced break due to Corona, we were finally allowed to hold a Christmas market on our Reinsdorf school grounds again.
On Thursday, December 08, 2022, our schoolyard and our school buildings were transformed into a contemplative market hustle and bustle in the middle of Advent.
Mathematics Olympiad 2022/2023
This school year, high school students in grades 5 and 7 took on the tasks of the state competition for high school mathematics in the school round. They puzzled and calculated for 90 minutes.
The "Meeting of the green professions
With another action in the context of our professional orientation at school, our "Meeting of green professions" took place on 22.11.2022.
Four companies were invited to the school, which presented the students with training occupations from the so-called green occupational field.
School audit for recertification of the BO seal
On 29.09.2022 it was time. The International Secondary School Reinsdorf faced the jury of the seal procedure to defend its BO - seal received in 2016.
